We were recently approached by a foreign national who had moved to the UK from Poland. They were a partner in a successful building and construction business with a 50% shareholding.
The client wished to raise £350k to buy a property just on the outskirts of Reading. Due to some increased potential risk with lending to people without a comprehensive UK traceable credit history the majority of the high street lenders he had visited were reluctant to lend such an amount – considering the business had only been operating in the UK for a few years.
As we have access to the majority of the mortgage market and are not locked into a set panel of lenders we we were able to source a competitively priced mortgage option and rate for him to enable him to purchase the property.
