One 77 Mortgages; providing guidance regarding Help to Buy - September 2, 2016

Help to Buy is a Government backed scheme enabling you to purchase a property with just a 5% deposit using what isPrint known as the ‘Help to Buy Equity Loan Scheme’. You will need to be able to take out a mortgage for 75% of the value of the property and the remaining 20% will be funded by the Government. If you are looking to buy a property in Greater London, the Government assistance available is 40%.

We are not only able to provide fee free advice on your mortgage and protection needs, but are very familiar with Help to Buy and how the scheme works. We even provide help with completing your application to Help to Buy, ensuring that you are eligible and are ‘accepted’ as quickly as possible to avoid delays when you find a suitable property.

One 77 Mortgages have been on Help to Buy’s recommended broker panel since the beginning of May and will be attending some of the ‘Roadshows’ put on by Help to Buy during September. Help to Buy South for example cover Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Mendip, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Our advisers will be at the Bristol Science Centre event on Saturday 10th September and at the Newbury Racecourse event on 24th September.

If you are considering purchasing a property, attending a Help to Buy event in your area may prove useful, as not only can you find out more about the scheme; a large number of developers exhibit at these events providing information on upcoming developments and incentives they may offer. Mortgage advice on the day is always in high demand so we would advise speaking to us as soon as possible. Our service is primarily telephony based and we are available on weekends and outside of normal working hours.
